烏克蘭官員今天(24日)表示，親俄羅斯叛軍今天朝烏國政府軍掌控的港口城市馬立波(Mariupol)住宅區發射格勒式(Grad)火箭，目前已經造成至少30人死亡；叛軍早先曾揚言要加強對基輔當局的攻勢。
馬立波是亞速海(Sea of Azov)的濱海城市，人口約50萬人。馬立波當局表示，格勒式火箭擊中了東南區的一座市場，近日來附近的道路已經遭受多次炮擊。
根據當地支持政府軍的志願軍團表示，今天的攻擊造成許多人受傷。
烏國東部頓內茨(Donetsk)叛軍領袖札哈成柯(Alexander Zakharchenko)在烏克蘭獨派網站貼文表示：「我方將不再推動任何停火談判。」他也警告，將指揮進行新的攻擊，以擴大控制區域。
烏克蘭政府23日表示，「俄羅斯恐怖主義團體」已跨越飽受戰火蹂躪的東部前緣、發動新一波的大規模攻勢。
