始終都係1080i 編碼, 同"L'Arc～en～Ciel LIVE 2014 at 国立競技場"1080p 24fps冇得比

1080i 不是 編碼
只用 i 和 p 去決定畫質好壞不會是 rule of thumb

我梗係睇過畫質比較先咁講, 衛蘭果個一睇就見到有夠牙
另外一個4K拍既Muse Live in Rome一樣係1080i, 一樣有狗牙

編碼 = encoding / codec now , with compression algorithm, e.g MPEG2, H.264

1080 is screen resolution
p = progressive ( 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p30, 1080p50, 1080p60),
i = interlaced, i.e. the frame will be divided into 2 portions, so, there are 1080i50 (25 frames) and 1080p60 (30 frames)

if u view 1080i video on PC, the software will do de-interlacing (==> p), which one of the factors to determine video quality is the de-interlacing algorithm.

moreover, if u view 1080p50 , it has 2 times more frames than 1080i50.

i/p係叫scan type~
如果你計frame去比較, 咁1080p24係咪差過1080i60 ? 因為BD唔會有1080p50/60出現

de-interlacing i->p, 係software 或 on-chip real time 做, 其實都係估番d畫面出黎, 唔同device/setting都會有分別 , 不過real time做好難做得番原本100%畫面 , 所以通常p既source都靚過i 既source

同意, 所以而家4K/UHD標準下唔會再有i, 只有p, 仲要係食足50/60 frame

印象中喺好早期嘅香港concert blu-ray出現過1080 50i呢個格式。

而家都係1080i50，日本已經轉用1080p24
