G7 有mod BIOS 先可以有 port 5/6 AHCI，hot plug同boot from 3rd party RAID CARD 㗎

同埋要用新版BIOS 先可以完整 support windows server 2012， 但就無左先前mod BIOS版咁多功能

The latest official HP BIOS version is O41100113 [2013.10.01 (A) (15 Nov 2013)]

I wonder whether I should use and flash the above modified BIOS Version O41072911 or there is another more updated modified version O41100113?

o41072911mod, 由2012年N40L開始已經係呢個版本啦, 你而家先來問, 買得N40L/N54L既一早mod晒

I only use the N54L with Synology DSM 5.1 with 4 HDD only

The hot-swap function and 5th SATA port are good to have but not necessary at this moment.

Any other good features for the modified BIOS ?

AHCI lor, 不過用DSM 5.1都可以5隻HDD

舊個mod都好夠玩，除非你裝win server 2012，咁就要用新bios,但代價係好多好野都無得再玩

果塊係 cache，仲可以插電，但電要另外買。
