Afternoon Tea for Upper Class

High Tea for Working Class

http://www.afternoontea.co.uk/informati ... -high-tea/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Of course, soon after, the upper classes developed their own variation and also called it 'high tea'. It was a meal that could be eaten when their servants were away or not available, as it was so easy to prepare.

The upper class 'high tea' involved the amalgamation of Afternoon Tea and high tea, with the addition of pigeon, veal, salmon and fruit.

Nowadays: Afternoon Tea = High Tea

你是貴族 :-bd

我是飲 Afternoon Tea 的普通人

:onion116: :onion116: :onion116:

Traditional Afternoon Tea Menu

(1) A selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches
(2) Warm scones with clotted cream and preserves
(3) A variety of home made cakes and pastries
(4) Your choice from a range of teas

我最喜歡 (2) & (4)
